down under...

Indian are not percieved well in many parts of the world. They are treated like outsiders by locals present there. They see us as competition. When there is competition there are bound to be conflicts. What we must understand is that at the end of the day we are lucky to work there because of our capability and cheap labour. We often blame our country for overcrowding, overpopulation...but frankly speaking it has helped us in the global world. Companies have outsourced thier work to india due to the cheap labour. The labour here is cheap only because of our huge population. The foreign companies are so happy with the indians that they welcome them to foreign countries. This has created a major problem for the locals there. Due to our excellent capabilities and cheap labour we have beaten the locals to get the jobs.Obviously we are moving to differnt countries. Any local will be angry somewhere down the line that they are losing thier jobs and also thier bread and butter due to us. We are responsible upto some extent for thier dissatisfaction. i am not justifying thier actions against us. However, they should accept that the world is flat and look beyond regionalism, racism and accept globalisation. They shoulb be more competitive enough to beat us. Looking from thier point of view we are spoiling thier lifestyle by affecting thier bread and butter. Its just the beginning. It going to happen slowly in all the countries where indians have flodded. Already barack obama has made his people aware of this threat to thier society. They are going to make laws and visas more stringent to avoid us. But we shouldnt lose hope. Eventually we will mix. Infact the indian news media have created a big hype about racism.the attacks are not due to racism its because we have interfered too much in thier society which they didnt like. Racism is just an excuse. At times by speaking about a subject too much can aggravate the problem. It also makes the people there aware who were initially ignorant and politicians thier can make good use of such topics. Either its india or australia all politicans are the same. My friend Jimmish Patwa who is currently studing there says,"i feel more safe in australia than india". He said it just one day back when the problem is suppose to be at its peak. I think its a more hyped thing rather than reality. The indian media should refrain from speaking too much about it. It can have worse effects. So indians must be ready for more anti indian views in other countries too. But dont stop working. Dont take the comments by locals there too seriously as they have the right to say it. Just be in your limits and take it with a pinch of salt. Dont provoke them by taliking aginst them. Just ignore and run if you have too. It will die down slowly, though its still a long way to go.
